At Cogworx, we don't have "contractors", we have "associates". It's an important distinction, because at Cogworx we want you to join our team, and to feel part of our team, while continuing to enjoy your independence.

Be part of a team

Feedback from a lot of contractors is that the biggest thing they miss being self-employed is not being part of a team and having colleagues. 

We've developed long-standing relationships with many of our associates who continue to return to work with us and who we consider to be part of the Cogworx team.

Cogworx’s senior leadership team has hands-on involvement with all our projects and there is usually at least one director actively part of a team.

We run socials that include days away from projects to take part in activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, museum visits, lunches and BBQs.

Flexible working

COVID-19 has increased the prevalence of flexible working hours and Cogworx is no exception. Where it has negligible impact on the wider team, we offer associates the option to adapt their working hours to accommodate other commitments (for example school pick-ups and drop-offs).
